HOW TO ADJUST THE 3D TOUCH SENSITIVITY

Using a grid of 96 sensors that read the microscopic changes in the distance between the glass cover and the backlight, your iPhone is able to detect different degrees of pressure. This heading feature, called 3D Touch, is used to reveal content previews and contextual menus within applications and quick actions on application icons on the home screen.
Do you feel that the 3D Touch forces you to press the screen too hard? If so, iOS offers a handy guide to changing the amount of pressure you need to activate the function.

How to adjust the 3D touch sensitivity

Step 1: Start setup on your iPhone.
Step 2: Navigate to the General → Accessibility → 3D Touch section .
Step 3: Slide the sensitivity slider in the 3D Touch Sensitivity section to change the intensity with which you must press the screen to activate the function. You can choose between three pressure levels: Light, Medium and Firm.
"Set the amount of pressure needed to activate 3D Touch", says the description of the function. "Sensitivity to light reduces the amount of pressure required, firm sensitivity increases it."
Scroll down and press the image in the section titled "3D Touch Sensitivity Test" to test the sensitivity level you have selected at that moment in search of functions such as Peek and Pop.
You can also turn the 3D Touch on and off on the same screen.
